Price Promise
The price you see is the price you pay.
With many roofers, the price can grow once the job starts. Ours can't. Here's exactly what we promise, in plain English, and the only two things it doesn't cover.
Our promise to you.
One price, everywhere.
The price on your screen is the same price our rep brings to your kitchen table, and the same price you pay if you finance. We never add a hidden financing fee.
We don't haggle, so nobody gets a better deal than you by pushing harder.
Your range becomes a guarantee.
Your online quote gives you a price range for the roof you chose. After we measure your roof and visit your home, your final price will be inside that range.
The only exception is if we find something on our published price list, such as a second layer of old shingles or a chimney that needs new flashing. If we do, we show you the photo, the line on the list and the exact dollar amount before you sign anything.
If we measured wrong, that's our problem.
If your roof turns out to be bigger than our estimate, you still pay no more than the top of your range.
Two exceptions, stated plainly: if your home has been added on to since the date of the map data shown on your quote, or if your quote was worked out from a home size you gave us rather than from a measurement and the measured report shows a bigger roof, we'll give you a new price in writing, and you're free to walk away.
Your price never goes up after you sign.
There's one thing nobody can see until the old shingles come off: rotten decking, the wooden boards the shingles are nailed to. The first 3 sheets are on us. After that we charge $85 per 4×8 sheet, installed.
We text you a photo of each damaged sheet and you approve it before we replace it.
We'll replace as many sheets as your roof needs, but you'll never be charged for more than 20 sheets on a home built in 1996 or later, 30 sheets on a home built between 1980 and 1995, or 40 sheets on a home built before 1980 (the first 3 are included). For a newer home, that means the most decking can ever add is $1,445.
The most you'll ever pay is printed on your quote.
Your quote shows the highest possible total after you sign, with decking counted at its limit. Your final bill can't be more than that for the roof you chose.
Walk away free.
There's no deposit. If our visit price is higher than you expected, you owe us nothing.
After you sign, you can cancel for any reason, with no fee, within 7 days or at any time before your materials are delivered, whichever is later. This is on top of the 3-day right to cancel that Texas law already gives you for contracts signed at home.
Pay when it's done.
You pay when the roof is finished and you've walked through the photos and the work with us.
What the promise doesn't cover.
- Structural repairs
- If we find structural damage, such as rotten rafters (the beams that hold up the roof deck), that isn't part of the roof price. We always price it in writing and ask for your approval before any work, and you can say no.
- Changes you ask for
- If you ask us to change the job, for example a different shingle or extra gutters, we price the change in writing before we do it.
If we ever get a price wrong, we take the loss. We will never use this promise as a reason to hold back a price or to ask you to sign a new contract.
A few words we use.
- Square
- Roofers measure roofs in squares. One square is 100 square feet of roof surface.
- Decking
- The layer of wooden boards your shingles are nailed to. It comes in 4×8-foot sheets. The first 3 sheets are included in every price. We'll replace as many sheets as your roof needs, but you'll never be charged for more than 20 to 40 sheets (the first 3 are included), depending on when your home was built.
- Flashing
- The metal that seals the joints where your roof meets a wall, a chimney or a skylight.
- Published price list
- The fixed rates for things our visit might find, such as a second layer of old shingles. Your quote shows each one, worked out for your roof. Price list effective Sep 30, 2026.
