Drone roof inspections
Every inspection starts with a drone scan of your roof.
A drone photographs every plane of your roof from above, so we see the whole roof before anyone climbs a ladder. Every photo is dated and goes into your Roof Record.
It's free with every inspection and every confirmation visit.

What a drone inspection is.
One of our team flies a small camera drone over your roof while standing in your yard. It takes photos of every side of the roof from above, and we fly in closer for anything that needs a better look. Then we check what a camera can't show, like the attic.
What we capture
- High-resolution photos of every plane of your roof
- Close-ups of anything that needs a closer look
- Ridges, valleys, flashing, vents and pipe boots
- Gutters and the roof edge, seen from above
- Every photo dated and timestamped
- All of it in your Roof Record, which you keep

Why a drone is better for your roof.
Nobody walks on your roof unless they need to.
Old shingles crack under a boot, and steep roofs are dangerous. The drone sees the whole roof first, so we only climb up where something needs a hands-on look.
It's faster.
The drone covers every plane of the roof from above, so the visit spends its time on what matters: the attic, the problem spots and your questions.
You see what we see.
You get the same photos we look at, dated and in your Roof Record. If we say a shingle is creased, you'll have the photo of it.
Free with every inspection. A drone scan is part of every free inspection and every confirmation visit, and part of every job's photo record. There's nothing extra to pay.

- We only fly with your permission, and you can say no. We'll inspect without the drone instead.
- We photograph your roof, not your neighbors' homes or yards.
- Your photos go into your Roof Record, which is yours to keep and share as you choose.
- We never sell your photos.
Safety and the rules.
- Every flight follows FAA rules.
- We check the airspace near local airports before we fly, including Sugar Land Regional, Hobby, Bush Intercontinental and Ellington.
- We don't fly in high wind, rain or lightning. If the weather's wrong, we inspect without the drone or come back.
What a drone scan doesn't do.
The drone photos show us the surface of your roof. They don't replace measuring your roof properly at the visit, and they can't show the decking under the shingles or the frame from the attic side, so we still check those. Your price is confirmed the way it always is: by measuring your roof and showing you the most you'll pay in writing.

Do you use drones?
Yes. A drone scan is part of every free inspection and every confirmation visit, at no extra cost. The drone takes high-resolution photos of every plane of your roof, and close-ups of anything that needs a closer look. Every photo is dated and goes into your Roof Record, and if we work on your roof, the drone photos become part of your job's photo record too.
It means nobody has to walk on a fragile or steep roof unless they need to, and you see exactly what we see. We still check the things a drone can't show, like the attic, and the drone photos don't replace measuring your roof properly.
We only fly with your permission. Every flight follows FAA rules. We check the airspace near local airports before we fly. If you'd rather we didn't fly, tell us and we'll inspect without the drone.
Will your drone photograph my neighbors?
No. We point the camera at your roof, not at your neighbors' homes or yards. If the edge of a photo happens to show part of the house next door, we don't use it for anything beyond your Roof Record.
Your drone photos go into your Roof Record, which is yours to keep and share as you choose. We never sell them.
