Affordable Roofing TX (“we”, “us”) collects only the information we need to inspect, quote and work on your roof, and to keep in touch with you about it. We don't sell your information.

What we collect

When you fill in a form on this site

• The street address of the home, your first name and your mobile number.
• What's going on with your roof, if you choose to tell us.
• A record of your consent to be contacted: the exact consent wording you agreed to, the date and time, the page you were on, and your browser's user-agent string. We keep this to show that you asked us to contact you.

When we inspect or work on your roof

• Photos of your roof and property, which record the location, date and time each photo was taken. These make up your Roof Record.
• Measurements, notes, quotes, contracts, approvals and payment records for work you choose to have done.

Technical information

• Like most websites, our hosting provider may log technical data such as IP addresses and request times for security and reliability. This site currently uses no advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it

• To contact you by call or text to book and confirm your inspection, and about your roof.
• To inspect your roof, prepare your Roof Record, quote, and carry out and document the work.
• To keep records we're required to keep, and to protect our legal rights.

We may use automated technology, including AI, to send and respond to messages and calls. See our SMS Terms.

Who we share it with

• Service providers who help us run the business, such as messaging, customer-management, hosting, and financing partners (only if you ask about financing). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Anyone you ask us to share your Roof Record with, such as your insurance adjuster.
• Where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile number or your text-messaging opt-in with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep lead and consent records for as long as we need them to show consent and meet our legal obligations. We keep job records, including Roof Records, for the life of any warranty and as long as the law requires. After that we delete or anonymise them.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text to stop messages. Reply HELP for help.
• Ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it (unless we must keep it by law) by emailing info.tx@affordableroofingtx.com.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we limit who can access your information to people who need it to do their job.

Children

This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
