The Roof Record
A record of your roof that you own.
A Roof Record is a set of photos and notes that shows the condition of your roof, starting with a drone scan of every roof plane. Every photo shows where and when it was taken. You get one free with every inspection, and you keep it whether or not you hire us.

What's in a Roof Record.
- Drone photos of every roof plane
- A drone scan photographs every side of your roof from above, with close-ups of anything that needs a closer look. We only fly with your permission, and we never sell the photos.
- Photos of everything we find
- Each photo shows the location, date and time it was taken, along with a reference number so it's easy to discuss.
- Your roof's measurements
- We record the size of your roof, its pitch and its main measurements on the day we inspect.
- Our findings, in plain English
- We explain what we saw and where, and whether we'd suggest keeping an eye on it, repairing it or replacing it.
- Before-and-after photos
- If we do any work on your roof, we add photos of the finished job.
How a Roof Record can help you.
When you sell your home
You can show buyers the documented condition of your roof and any work that's been done.
For your own records
You'll have your roof's age, condition and history in one place, whoever you hire in the future.
As a before-and-after comparison
You'll have dated photos of your roof as it is today, so you can see what's changed after the next storm or over the years.
What a Roof Record isn't.
A Roof Record is our documentation of what we saw on the day we inspected. It isn't an insurance determination, a warranty, or a licensed home inspection report, and we don't claim that any insurer, lender or buyer will accept or rely on it. It's a record you can share, and you decide who sees it.
You get your own copy. We keep a copy too, so we can update it on your next visit. Our Privacy Policy explains how we store it.
